ELAD Canada is the versatile Canadian real estate arm of the ELAD Group, an international developer with a keen focus on development projects and income-producing properties. Backed by extensive international capital and benefiting from experience and in-depth knowledge of the industry, ELAD Canada has a proven track record with large scale, multi-phase projects throughout Canada. Since its inception in 1997, ELAD Canada has focused its business in central Canada, acquiring income producing properties, as well as development sites. The result was that by 2008, the Canadian portfolio was close to 5.9 million square feet of commercial space, as well as nearly 17,000 apartments and seniors’ units. In recent years, ELAD Canada has a new direction, disposing of its income-producing properties to focus on development sites, and specializing in mid- and high-rise condominiums and master planned communities. Best known for its visionary approach to the award-winning Emerald City master planned community in Toronto, the Cité Nature condominium development next to the Olympic Village pyramids and the redevelopment of the historic Nordelec building in Montreal, ELAD Canada continues to lead the way in innovative development projects.
